It drops from a 55 to a 45 in .9 miles then down to a 35 in .1 miles. He was sitting about .2 miles after it changed to a 35 mph.

I was still going 55. And had not realized it changed to 35. I got a $520 ticket.

Thanks.

  1. I dont think there is a legal limit on sign spacing.  If a sign is posted, then you are "supposed" to see it and abide by it.  For roads that dont have a sign and are painted with double yellow lines, you are supposed to assume that the speed limit is 35 or 40mph.

Cops know the spots to sit, thats why they are there.  Probably not fair, but it happens.

    Sorry bud.
