  1. Legan age is 16 in France

  2. 16

(scroll down to the chart that lists age by country)

  3. 16 for beer and wine, 18 for hard alcohol

but if you're at a cafe/bar they don't generally ask your age, if you look around high school age they'll serve you the hard alcohol anyways, its not as strict as in the US for example (I'm 18 but I went out drinking with a couple 16 and 17 yr olds in France-Grenoble and Paris, none of us were ever asked our ages and we always given hard alcohol if we asked)

it may be a little harder to purchase alcohol from a store if you're underage

just don't drink too much, the French like to enjoy their drinks, but they don't generally drink to get drunk, and you don't want to be the loud drunk American

  4. I  have gone to France, and ppl drink at 16, so it is 16. Plus many of the clubs in France serve alcohol to them at that age.
