  1. You have to be 16 to get a license.

  2. Used to be, if you have a license in the US, it is good in MX.  You just have to stop and get a permit to drive there.  But trust me, unless you HAVE to drive there, I wouldn't.  I can't even describe the nightmare of driving there..

  3. You need to be 18 to get a full driver's liscense. Knowing how to actually drive isn't necesary to get the liscense though (I never had to do any exams whatsoever to get mine and I could actally get at least two liscenses for two different states at the same time if I had the money). A lot of places do demand an IFE voting card and a CURP number to get a liscense though.

Minors can get special permits from age 15 and up which cost a lot of money, are only valid for one year and need approval of their parents or legal guardians. The one advantage they have is that if the break the law (speeding, passing a red light, drunk and driving, etc..), they won't go to jail. They will lose the permit, but you can just issue a new one and while you can lose the old permit, you don't accumulate negative points when you're old enough to get a full liscense.

  4. I didnt think there was such thing as legal driving in mexico...was under the impression any car was fit to drive on their rodes without a license.

  5. 15 to get a minor license

18 to get a license as adult

  6. whats the question?

  7. To get a regular driver license you must be at least 18; to get a minor permission it depends on the state laws, usually 16 or 15 at some.
