  1. The breath test is 30,they prosicute at over 35....

  2. In Great Britain a legal blood alcohol limit of 80 mg per 100 mL

  3. 1-2 units :)

  4. Hello,

(ANS) I think the technical legal argument here in the UK about how many units of alcohol is or is NOT permitted is an utter load of non sense.

**IMO - Basically, you are totally mad & utterly irresponsible if you think you can drink anything (any amount) and still drive safely.

**If you do think you can drive safely then your deluding yourself just the footballer who killed x2 children as a result.

**You CANNOT MIX ALCOHOL & DRIVING, ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!! END OF STORY!!.

    Ivan.

  5. It's the amount that's in your bloodstream, it can only really be calculated by a breathaliser, because it's a ratio that is different for everyone...But stay on the safe side ;)

  6. 80mg per 100mL of blood -- Or as it would normally be expressed in other parts of the world, 0.08%.

  7. Current limit is 80mg per 100ml of blood.

The breath test limit is 35 ugs  - anything above this will get you arrested on suspicion of drink/driving....but it's the blood test that is the legal proof.

So I guess the news article was talking about the breath test, not the blood one.
