  1. Don't do it - no diets like that are healthy - if anything drink water with fresh lemon or lime throughout the day to keep you cleansed...

  2. During the diet (some people go for 10 days) you can expect:

    * Diarrhea

    * Dizziness

    * The salt water can make you puke.

    * You might lose about 8 pounds over 10 days * While during the diet you might be sluggish, it promises increased energy afterward. After you EAT SOMETHING!

    * You will c**p out all of the solids within your body. Be ready. If you swallowed a pebble when you were 5 years old, it might make a guest appearance.

    * You may have an increased desire to eat healthy foods afterward.

  3. You can get your answer here http://www.squidoo.com/mastercleansessli...

    You may experience some side effects like headache, aches, diarrhoea. Lemonade diet is best completed within 10 days. I would advise you to stop smoking and drinking during this period, you trying to detox not inhale toxins.

  4. It's a fad diet, made obvious by the fact that it's called:

    THE [insert food or drink here] DIET

    Any diet that concentrates on a singular food or drink as some sort of cure all is, by definition, unhealthy.

    This one is particularly unhealthy because it appears to be a "cleansing" system, which translates to purging. Just because it's using natural ingredients for the effect doesn't make it good for you. You can achieve the same effect by taking castor oil and drinking water all day. Or by purging through a different o*****e. Don't wander too far from the bathroom and expect side effects along the lines of fasting = dehydration + vitamin deficiency + weakness.

    Or better yet, talk to a dietitian.

  5. It's not the "lemonade diet" it's the "lemon water diet" and basically it's water jazzed up with lemon, cayenne pepper, and syrup.  Basically it's more completely unhealthy celebrity proliferated BS.  I would argue that it isn't safe since you don't eat during the diet, all you drink is this concoction.  Where I'm from that's called anorexia.
