Verapamil is used to treat irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias) and high blood pressure. It relaxes your blood vessels so your heart does not have to pump as hard. It also increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart to control chest pain (angina). If taken regularly, verapamil controls chest pain, but it does not stop chest pain once it starts. Your doctor may give you a different medication to take when you have chest pain.

Low blood pressure (hypotension) may occur while taking this medicine. Check with your doctor right away if you have the following symptoms: blurred vision; confusion; severe dizziness, faintness, or lightheadedness when getting up from a lying or sitting position suddenly; sweating; or unusual tiredness or weakness .

While you are taking this medicine be careful to limit the amount of alcohol that you drink. Alcohol increases dizziness and drowsiness and also lowers blood pressure .

i don't know what the dose is, but i can tell you that would be a pretty awful way to die. not only will you likely have a pretty terrible cardiac arrhythmia, but your skeletal muscles will likely seize and you'll feel like you're choking and you can't breathe or walk. it won't be quick, either.

instead of helping your friend figure out how to die, why not help them figure out how to live? get them help. if you don't, maybe no one will. tell someone. soon.
