  1. Capitalism has inequality as long as people have different work ethics, talents, etc.  Socialism, in its ideal, has no income inequality.  Capitalism has a higher level of productivity because the profit incentive encourages people to work harder, while in socialism they're guaranteed the same income no matter how hard they work.
