What is the liability of a physician prescribing a penicillin related antibiotic to a patient who declares allergic reaction to penicillin?

Hi I told a gp that I had reacted to Augmentin last year quite a bad reaction and this time she still gave me amoxicillin liquid for a double middle ear infection now 2nd day in my lips became little puffy and towards the end strange chills in my body after I finished meds i broke out in biggish hives on the legs and also hives on face and my face swelled and I couldn't breathe what do you think could be the Penecillin I am still recoving and seem to have a reaction also in the mouth these symptons are all very worrying I do not feel like myself at all shivery and muscle aches and it is seeming to take a while to go away completely any idea how long and should that doctor had listened to what I had to say about the medicine Many Thanks A Reynolds
