Question:

What is the liberal DNC talking-points defense of these three examples of Liberal Elitism? ?

HELP ME PLEASE!!! Those darn CONSERVATIVES keep attacking me that my liberal Democrats are ELITISTS...They give these examples and I don't know what to do:

Example 1: Joe Biden telling this guy he has a higher IQ than him (It doesn't even seem like Joe Biden knows this guy---how can he be so certain about this?)

Example 2: Apparently TED KENNEDY stopped the construction of RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATING WINDMILLS because he claimed it upset the view from his limousine while he drove to his vacation compound on the coast of Massachussetts. Does anyone have the REAL details here? I can't believe he would do that!

Example 3: Apparently Barack Obama dismissed many people who lean conservative saying "it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Did he really say that? What was the REAL context? Please help me----I'm sick of losing these arguments----or somehow attacking McCain as being "OLD" or "his wife is rich"---both of which seem very ornery and un-American attacks.

{{PLEASE STAR THIS QUESTION! }}

I need as much help as possible to defend myself against these crazy Neo-Cons!!!

  1. I don't know the liberal DNC talking points in defense of these statements.  I don't really care.

    It was wrong of Kennedy to not allow windmills to be built in his home state.

    It was wrong (context not withstanding) of Biden to bring up his IQ in belittling someone else.

    Obama's statements are much more open for interpretation.  I think he was completely accurate in the way I understood his message.  that being that in tough times people go to their comfort zones.  For many that is religion (which is why the strategy of some on the right is to use fear and religion as the same tool for driving a wedge in this country).  Maybe it was elitist, maybe it wasn't, but right is right.

    As a liberal I don't feel the need to defend every single comment made by every single politician on the left.  That's a ridiculous and absurd thought.  I don't assume that my Republican friends have a strong desire to defend when a Republican congressman is caught in a g*y s*x scandal.  I understand that being a Republican does not automatically mean you must support every action of every Republican.

  2. its all true,thats liberals for ya.

  3. You need to realize that drying up student loans, cutting money for Medicare, saving money at the VA by letting our wounded soldiers lie in their own p**p at Walter Reed Hospital, all to save money so billionaires can get even more tax breaks, is insane.  It hurts YOU, and if it hasn't hurt you yet, it will.  PLEASE think.  You are not a billionaire, you do not count to the Republicans, and in spreading around nonsense like the elitist charge you are only helping people stay in office who have only screwed you and your family and always will.  Please figure it out, you do NOT matter to the Republican elitists, the wealthy privileged elitist Republican country club set.

  4. Another elitist fraud, just like the rest of them, you can throw the criminal bush cartel on the heap with the scamming clintons and the majority of on the take scoundrels in DC (District of Criminals)...
