What is the life-expectancy of Sumo wrestlers?

It's just that seeing these huge, apparently gross bodies, makes one think immediately that they contravene every one of the rules (apart from exercise) in the Health Rulebook....

Does anyone know how they rate? In comparative life-spans, that is?

I'm not sure exactly, but i know they die pretty early because there's a lot of fat around their heart which eventually leads to death.

Have you seen their slim and beautiful wives?  I would say if the diet doesn't kill 'em ...

i actually believe that these athletes do live quite long lives; as they have to look after their body to do the sport that they are in; it seems quite unlikely for them to have long lives but they normally do; trust me!!
