i would start with the cbr600f4i, yzf 600r, katana 600, and kawi 650.  these make good power, handle great, and would be better to learn on.  less likely to kill yourself!!! they still have enough power to do over 100 mph and wheelies.

Have you ridden a motorcycle at all before? If not, look for something a little more mild.
