What is the lightest alcoholic drink i could have?

I'm 5'1 and not slim, but I've never really had any experience with alcohol. I've had a watered down Cosmo and a whole Smirnoff without any problems. However, I drank the Smirnoff in very small sips and the watered down Cosmo was shared with friends. Pretty much, I have no idea what my tolerance is. I want to be able to join in with my friends, but I don't want to get tipsy at all. What's a good drink? Thanks!

A rum and coke in a tall glass.  If you double the amount of mixer, you, in effect, cut the alcohol potency in half.

Just tell the bartender you want a "Virgin ____________". Like a virgin Margarita,or a virgin pina colada. That means theres no booze at all .You can knock back mixed drinks all night ,and see how goofy your freinds are when their smashed .Meanwhile your as sober as a preacher on sunday.

white wine spritzer (couple of ounces of wine in a glass of club soda)

Shandy (couple of ounces of beer in a glass of ginger ale).

You'd like wine coolers. They're fruity, extremely low alcohol content, and cheap. When I used to drink them I got the kind that came in a 4-pack with a mostly gold wrapper (I think it was gold) and they were a strawberry flavor. Wine coolers are really good starter drinks for people with little experience with alcohol.

I'd suggest get some 7up or Sprite and ask for just a splash of melon liquor. Fruity, not very heavy and you can feel like you're joining in.

Another suggestion, you could offer to be the designated driver and have yummy non-alcoholic drinks all night.  Have fun!

i'd stay with the frilly girly drinks. and if ur still not sure about that you can ask who evers mixing the drink to make it weak lol
