Seeing that the Yankees definitely need a back up catcher, and I don't see Chad Moeller doing anything too special as the backup catcher, is there any possibly that the Yankees could still be shopping at the Trade Deadline for more catchers? I also heard the Yankees could be shopping for Jose Molina's brother Bengie. What available catcher would the Yankees look into acquiring at the Deadline? Be specific and detailed.

  1. i think dey are goin keep it the way it is becuz all they need is a catcher who is goin be solid defensivly and molina is great defensivly cuz if u need a catcher to help ur offense den we are not goin be good

  2. Molina is doing a terrific job, and Moeller is not that bad of a catcher. He isn't terrific, but he's satisfactory and he works hard. That's all they need right now. What are you going to do with a big-name backup once Posada eventually retunrs and Molina goes back to being the backup? A catcher is just not needed.

  3. I'm not all that sure who the Yanks would get, because there aren't a lot of good quality backups - at least, not the type the Yanks would look for.
