What is the likelyhood that Kyle Busch will get the Home Depot sponsorship from JGR?

It would sure fit him better than the God Squadders over at Interstate Batteries!

But you know, Tony looked so natural holding tools and stuff in commercials.  Even if he doesn't use them all that often, and I'm sure he doesn't with his schedule, he looks like he knows *how*.  I don't think Kyle would, unless he was shown using them to damage someone else's car or vandalize someone else's house.

Not very. I believe the Mars Corporation (Snickers, M&Ms, Combos, etc) & Interstate Batteries signed long term deals with JGR to sponsor the #18. If they were 1 yr 'test' contracts they will most definitely up their sponsorship of him.

Home Depot is reportedly either going to lessen their sponsorship in NASCAR or pull out entirely by the end of 2008. Had Tony stayed I think this would be a different story.

Home depot is probably headed into chapter 11 bankruptcy. Their sales and stock have plumeted even before the building slump.  

They need a complete reorganization before they fail completely.

according to jayski.com's page on the #18, the driver and sponsor contracts on that car are set through 2010. so i don't see it happening. i hadn't heard home depot was pulling out, and they were supposedly the main sponsor contract signed through 2009. whether or not tony's leaving affects that or not, i don't know. but they won't be going to the #18.

I'm sure that after the season he has had so far, his sponsors are gonna see to it that doesn't happen. I'm sure if there was even a remote possiblity, they would show up with lawyers and signed contracts, and more cash than you can shake a stick at.

i think that kyle busch is going to stay with his current sponsers even though im sure there will be some offers for sponsership since he has been dominating lately and everyone will want there name on his car
