What is the limit in blackjack?

Question

to how many times you can 'hit" in the game blackjack? my friend says you can't hit again if your cards amount to 14 (or over). I really don't think there is a limit.

the most cards u can have are 5.....if u have five cards in ur hand and still didnt bust...you win even if your opponent has 21,its called a five card stoolie

Well there are only so many ways to get a total of 21. : / So try and figure that out.

You can hit until you "break" which means you went over 21 and that's what the casino wants so they can keep your money. But the general rule is to not hit past 14 (unless you count card and know there allot of little cards in the deck, then you may want to chance it.
