I really enjoyed the songs played during the 2008 Democratic National Convention, and I would love nothing more than to acquire the compilation of songs played, (hopefully to be sold on a single soundtrack eventually to raise money for the Obama Campaign.) I am a huge Obama supporter, and would love to have these songs to memorialize this truly historic and exciting moment in history. Can someone please provide me a list with all the songs played at the convention? And furthermore is there anyplace that I can buy all songs played compiled onto one soundtrack? Thanks and Obama 08!

  1. I have the very same question.  There is one in particular that I don't know the name of or who sings it - it almost sounds like a Stevie Wonder song, but I don't think it is.  It was played before someone spoke (and I can't remember who, a woman I think), probably the 1st or 2nd night.  If anybody can give a list, I'd sure be interested too!

  2. "Best of MoTown" 1964-1966

  3. Only in America by Brooks & Dunns  played after Obama's speech

  4. I've got 3 so far:

Born in the USA - Bruce Springsteen

Signed, sealed, delivered - Stevie Wonder

Isn't She Lovely -  Stevie Wonder

There's about 72 hours worth of music to go, so folks, pile in with the list as you remember it.
