What is the little orange plastic piece that came with my Head tennis racquet?

its probably a simple question to answer its just that im new to tennis. The piece is wrapped in plastic around the grip and it is the size of a quarter except its triangular and it looks like it can open. What is it?

It sounds like a shock absorber to me.

It is a shock absorber.  Near the bottom of the racket, put it in between the middle two strings.  I may be a bit hard to get it in.

It is called a vibraittion dampner. If you don't put it on your racquet you will feel the vibrations when you hit the ball. Some people prefer to not use the dampner, but others always have to use it.
