This really depends where you live (i.e. on your own in a studio apt or with others, sharing)

In Melb near the city uni's (RMIT, Melbourne) it's about $200/ wk for a studio apartment (single). If you share with others and live just out of the city, you can reduce your costs to $80-$100/wk. If your uni is Monash, Swinburne, VU, etc, you'll have to look based on the areas.

The best thing to do is check out the website of the uni you belong to in Australia and see what their info on accommodation is.
