Look at a map of Switzerland. Locate BERN (the capital) Go due south as far as the Swiss/Italian border. Then slightly to the right. You will see the Matterhorn (Cervin in French) and Zermatt is just north/east of it on the map.

Beautiful place to visit. No cars allowed, but good train and bus services. Well worth a visit.

I love ZERMATT and definitely recommend visiting if you get the chance. It is a little challenging to get there - but well worth it.

Zermatt is located in the southwestern part of Switzerland. By the Italy boarder not the France boarder. Zermatt is in the Valais region of Switzerland.

i am not sure - i would have said the french boarder...but switzerland is tiny - you'll find your way tru it!
