What is the longest a brazilian rainbow boa will stay in water?

I just got one of these last tuesday and we fed it on sunday. It went into its water on sunday night and still in there (tuesday). it's about a year old. It is normal for it to stay in there for days??

i would check the humidty and tempretures in your viv sounds like its too hot or too dry

temps 90 in the hot end 78 in the cool end humidty 70-90%
