What is the longest bike ride you've ever had one-way,not counting marathons and why?

What is the longest bike ride you've ever had one-way,not counting marathons and why?

Around 120 miles, maybe a little more.   Why?   A couple of times were daily segments in a trip around Lake Michigan, many more of them were training rides for Ironman.

Longest today is about 30 miles.  Why, for fun and that was the end of the green-way.  I think I will get up to 50 but not much over that.

Point-to-point is about 105 miles.

Lap event is 203.  Took me almost fifteen hours total, on and off the bike.  Leaders finished in a little over eight hours.  Yeah, I got lapped in a double century.  I was DFL, but I pulled in before the time limit.  I finished.

If you've heard of RAGBRAI, there are people who have ridden the course in a day.  And in a UMCA event, the leaders are hitting 450 miles in a 24-hour period.

The big daddy events, of course, at RAAM (Race Across America) and Paris-Brest-Paris.

a marathon is a 26.2 miles running race so i don't know what you mean. I biked 2700 miles in the summer of '76.

210miles, double century, because it was a challenge and i wanted to see if i could do one.

to my mates place or into town from my mates place... oh no wait we never took bike to get to town. yeah to my mates place. i was gonna sleep over so i rode to his place. this was in primary school. it was like 3 kilometers to his driveway. then his driveway was like 2 kilometers long so 5 km all up. and i had to ride up 2 hills.

i used to ride my bike for hours each day right when i got home from school to when i could barley see in the dark so thats about   5 or 6 hours

zinn DFL is always better than DNF! my longest is 100. why, because it was fun! actually it rained off and on all day, which sucked! anyway it was an organized ride around Quabbin Reservoir
