  2. stephen king's the stand  and it's still one of my favorites today.

  3. Shogun was one of the longest I read.  I liked it, but way too many subplots.

  4. Gone with the Wind, it has 1024 pages and I absolutely love it! I read it every year! Also North and South by John Jakes it may have more than GWTW, it is amazing and I read all the books in the triliogy which were also long and wonderful!

  5. Breaking Dawn (Well the whole Twilight series is long but this is the longest) and yes, I loved it : )

  6. Hm.

False Memory by Dean Koontz .

Ya ; it's pretty much one of my favorite books

  7. Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. 756 pges of amazing text

  8. Gone with the Wind, and I loved it

  9. i have read a book called breaking dawn by stephenie meyer. i loved the book! the book is the fourth book in a saga called twilight.twilight is the first book.it is a wonderful series.i love it! the book was 756  pages.i love it you should read some large books most of the time big books are the best because they are the most detailed and have to most action.and harry potter was not as long not even close .

  10. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (over 1400 pages...well, depending on the version). It was one of the best books I have ever read. Like all books, it had it's duller parts, but it was still great. I finished it in less than a week!

  11. I read a couple of the Harry Potter books in elementary school, I liked it then, but now I think that Harry Potter sucks... :P

  12. one of the harry potter books was like 1000 pages, thats the longest one ive read and yeah i liked it

  13. I read War and Peace by Dostoeyevski (sp) in middle school; and it seemed like the longest book I've ever read, but actually it's not. I think because I didn't enjoy it too much at that age. I read Stephen King's The Stand around the same time, it was actually around the same length but went quickly as I really enjoyed it.

In recent years, I read a book called The Age of Enlightenment, about 18th century England's societal culture. Loved that one, and I think it was over 1300 pages.

Tried to read the unabridged Random House dictionary once (the ones that weigh 30 pounds) but that didn't get too far!

  14. war and peace,  i can't say i enjoyed it. it was a tough read.  but is is a book that has stayed with me so i'd have to say, it was worth it.

  15. Well.... Actually two books:

Gone With the Wind and Les Miserables (more than 1400 pages)

Tobey,  War and Peace was written by Tolstoy, not Dostoyevsky.

  16. don't remember but recently that would be Breaking Dawn. and no i didn't like it- I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. Gone with the wind (1024 pages) - yeah it was amazing. It's a historical novel full of romance, drama, passion, and believable characters. I really loved it, and I fell in love with Rhett Butler.

  18. Gone With the Wind.

    Loved it. Really good book.

It is also one of the only books which was a really good movie.

Its also the longest movie I have ever seen.

Definetly reccommend it. Its a classic, its really good and I learnt quite a bit about American history which I did not know!

  19. Harry Potter... Number five i think? 870 pages i believe or something close to that

  20. Les Miserables.  Once it got going, I really liked it.

Haha, Twilight.  I thought the question was the longest book you've read, not the only book. =P

  22. Harry Potter and Les Miserables
