  1. There are quite a few stories about Josh Gibson having hit balls out of parks into the street back during his heyday (Josh Gibson was the pre-eminent power hitter of the Black Leagues during the 1930s, in case you never heard of him). I'm no mathmetician but if the ball actually left the stadium, I would venture to guess that would be in the 500-700 ft. range. Of course he's more famous for having hit almost 800 HRs in his career. Who says catchers can't have power?

  2. Mickey Mantle of Chuck s****..  565 feet. hi

  3. Micky Mantle 634 feet (regular season)

Micky Mantle 700 feet (in an exhibition)

  4. no more than 600 feet

  5. Click on this website and you will find the ten longest home runs hit but Mickey Mantle.

  6. Mickey Mantle hit one 565 feet. but there is one home run that people think wouldve been over 600 feet. in the all-star game, reggie jackson hit a bomb in tigers stadium that bounced off of the beam as it was exiting the ball park. the beam stopped it from going farther than mantles shot. it was off of dock ellis

  7. Mickey Mantle hit the longest and it was 565 feet off of Chuck s****. and I'm not copying i knew this.

  8. The longest recorded HR was hit by Mantle off of Chuck s****..  It is listed at 565 feet.

  9. OK, the Mantle home run off of s****. is a complete myth; nobody knows how far that ball traveled. Besides if you look at Babe Ruth's home run charts, he is sure to have hit one even further.
