  1. Longest range? the 900MHz.....( but the Security sucks)

Due to higher transmitter power (1 watt) allowed by the FCC, you can expect seven to eight times the range of an earlier .001-watt cordless 43-49 MHz telephone, and about three or four times the range of an analog or digital 900-MHz cordless telephone.

The 900-MHz phones all have a better range due to the wavelengths being shorter -- shorter waves are easier to bounce off objects. However, only the DSS versions of the 900-MHz cordless telephones can use the full 1 watt of transmitting power. The normal digital and analog versions of the 900-MHz phones have a lower power limitation.

I use the Uniden bluetooth flip-phone!!

all you need is the base-phone, and you can have several extension!

  2. the 900mhz but i heard the 800mhz us just as good.

  3. Most all cordless, analog 900 Mhz. phones are 100 mw. in power. I have checked the range of several, and I see very little difference in range between a 900 Mhz. cordless, and the 2.4 Ghz. phones. They are all fairly poor, especially with ANY objects or structures in the way. The 5.8 Ghz. phones are even worse. (Higher frequency, less range.! Don't believe all the hype.!) Digital and spread spectrum do NOT increase range, just security...(Many of the 5.8 Ghz. cordless phones use 2.4 Ghz. for the BASE!!) Read the fine print.. I have NEVER seen a 1 watt cordless phone. They are .1 watts, or 100mw. (same)

  4. I dono mynes pretty goo i can go halfway down my nebor hood with it
