  1. The U2 is typically a single-pilot aircraft. I don't know exactly what it's un-refueled range is, but it had to be enough for it to spy on the USSR, etc.

    Non-military, some corporate jets can still be flown single pilot under "part 91" but I don't think any have a range of 2,500 NM or over.
