What is the longest runner bean that has been grown in a normal garden? My mom has grown one that is 14 inchs!!!

  1. It was a hybrid cross bred from a runner bean and a Mexican jumping bean.  Unfortunately it ran so fast and jumped so high that no one has yet been able to catch it to measure how long it is.
