  1. sepulveda blvd is one of the worlds longest street

(it starts in the San Fernando valley and contines all the way to torrrance/

  2. Figueroa St  starts in downtown LA and ends in Wilmington, about 30 miles. Sepulveda Blvd  is said to be the longest street in the US, which would also make it the longest street in the LA area.

  3. FYI.

the longest street in the world is Younge street, that starts in downtown Toronto,Canada at lake Ontario and heads north 1,896 km.

  4. Imperial Highway is a biggie. It goes from near LAX all the way past Anaheim before it changes names, then I don't know how much farther it goes. Valley Boulevard is another one that goes from somewhere in Los Angeles out through the Pomona area. Katella is another one, as is Carson street.

These are ones I know of. I'm sure there are more.
