What is the longest time your migraine has lasted for?

I'm on my fifth day and I thought the longest a migraine could go for was 72 hours?

I suffer from that misery too.  I have had them last 3 days, go away for 1 day, then come back.  Boy, do I know your pain.  I hope you feel better soon.

V-I see a neurologist.  What kind of MD did you go to?  I agree, his is an idiot saying you have to prove you have migraine?   There's pleanty he can do.  My MD prescribes Fiorecet for mine.  If he's worried about you taking meds, then he should have told you about Imitrex.  Non narcotic and most people can take it with good results.  Not me,  I have been diagnosed with "complicted Migraine"  You really need another opinion.  Don't settle for that jerks opinion.  I think it's awful that he lets you suffer with these debilitating headaches.
