What is the longest you ever gotten delayed on a plane before?

Hi Everybody! (I am nine using my sisters account) Anyways,I was just wondering how long you have ever gotten delayed on a plane before. I am asking because my sister yesterday was sitting on the runway for 4 hours!!! Then it was canceled.

We got delayed nearly 12 hours once - we got some vouchers for a meal - that is why I pack a good book or now my nintendo DS lite.

I've sat in the airport for about 8 hours before, but actually on the plane, about 3 hours.

I had a layover in Cincinatti, and we got stuck there for 7 extra hours, because it started snowing in April. That was about 4 years ago.

I sat on a runway for 6 hours one time :( My flight was from Atlanta to London. It took 8 hours. When I got to London I missed my connection to Ireland and sat in that airport for 9 hours. Then finally, I got a flight. My trip was 27 hours in total. And then I got right off the plane and had to dress up for a Halloween party. I was pretty grouchy, but the trip was fun in the end.
