  1. Put them in order. You want the bottom one forth of the numbers.


  2. 8, 12, 15, 18, 21, 25, 35, 37.

    Divide the numbers in half.

    The 1st four numbers are what you msut use.

    8, 12, 15, and 18.

    Divide those in half again.

    The first 2 numbers of those for would be the 'lower quartile'

    You can also solve this problem by maknig a 'box and whiskers' plot.
