What is the lowest gpa you can have to get into an overseas med. school.

I am a university student working on a BA. I have decided to pursue medicine however my GPA is low, very low, i was even dismissed due to my grades for a period of time. A pre-med friend tells me that since i haven't taken any science classes yet, if i get a's on all of my science classes an overseas med school (like mexico or something) would probably take me even with my terrible gpa. Exactly how easy is it to get into an overseas med school and is what my friend saying true? or is it too good to be true?

There is no chance that any medical school will accept you.  You realize that people who go to medical school have worked their butts off since freshman year and have maintained a GPA of min. 3.0 for all for years.  Even with that you need teacher recommendations, volunteer work etc.  

If you're interested in medicine you should drop out of college and get certified in medical assistance.  From there you try to get into a nursing program. I'm not trying to be mean but I'm just telling you the truth.

You got to be really hard-working to be in med school. If you can get A's in science subjects, shouldnt be a prob.

The issue isn't a foreign medical school accepting you--there are several in the Caribbean that will admit you if you can pay tuition.  But licensing boards look at all of your education--so even if you did well enough in a med school to pass the USMLE, you most likely would still have to go back to school to do the required courses.

So without taking any actual HARD classes you have been dismissed?  You haven't either the ability or the determination to go to med school.

Even foreign schools require chemistry, biology, math...  You have to be focused.

You are dreaming if you think even a foreign school will be an option for you.  You either have to start acting like a serious student, buckle down and study or quit wasting money.
