  1. There's a lot of little differences like weight and size, but the important differences are that the D200 uses CF memory cards the D80 uses SD, the D200 can go to 1/8000 shutter speed, the D80 is limited to 1/4000. D200 shoots at 5 FPS while the D80 is 3 FPS and write speeds are better in the D200...and of course Price! I just upgraded to the D300 from the D200. The autofocus is amazing on the D300! It's worth the extra $500 or so in my opinion.

  2. You can go to http://www.ritzcamera.com, pull up a list of all digital SLR cameras.  On the right hand side you will see a box that says compare.  Click that box next to the two you want to compare and then click the blue compare button at the bottom of the last page.  It will give you a side by side comparison.

  3. Here is a side by side comparison from DPReview.com

Do yourself a favor and don't read anything by Ken Rockwell.

  4. Here is a link that will help you understand the differences.

  5. Price ( Biggest Difference )

    More Features

    Physically Larger

    Better Image Quality

    More Professional Camera..

    The D80 and D200 Can't Really

    Be Compared.
