  1. I believe a CEO is either a little higher or about the same as  president...they just do different things

  2. The difference is any place from 50 thousand to about a half million dolars a year

  3. well a President is held by  leaders of organizations, companies, countries etc. but a CEO is usually to describe someone who is specifically a head person at a corporation, agency, or company.

  4. pres is the boss of everybody exceot the owner

  5. In a company, the president is usually the overall boss - the chairman (unigender term) of the Board of Directors of the company.  In most cases, the president is the owner of the company.  Where a company is small, a president can also serve both as a CEO.and President - that is s/he runs the daily activities of the company (manages) while at the same time, s/he presides over the future of the company (president).

The CEO or Chief Executive Officer is the company's manager.  S/He is the one who oversees  the daily activities of the company.  As such, s/he is subordinate to the Board of Directors and the President in particular.

  6. a president is on the board of directors for a company and a CEO is not.  The board of directors choose the CEO.
