    Congratulations, by the way.

Your partner will be attending classes that you will asked to attend also.

The Priest will give you instructions. Just explain your situation at that time. He'll give you direction and help you understand.

    Bless You Both.

  5. Since all other christian churches started with the catholic church and then evolved into a different form of christianity, only the form of worship is changed. You do know that catholics are christians too, right?

  6. Catholics are the original Christians belonging to the only Church founded by Christ and the apostles. The Catholic Church is the only Church that can claim to be a Bible Church in that it is the Catholic Church that wrote the New Testament and canonized the entirety of God's written Word through the authority given by Christ to His

    Church.

Non-Catholic Christian churches are man-made modernist churches founded recently and is in protest of the Church that Christ created. Their belief is that they have created a Church with more veracity than the Church Christ created even though Jesus said that He founded an enduring Church containing the fullness of truth that would never fall into apostasy but would instead be the ark for the truth from an evil world. God bless!!

  7. You have nothing to worry about, it's basically all the same. A couple classes in Catholicism and Bingo! - you're Catholic!  Easy as pie.

Catholic churches are cooler looking inside too - more stained glass, and lots of candles. Catholicism is the first Christian church also so there's more tradition and rituals kinda stuff.

Also, double check things - unless you attend a non-denominational church, your official label is more than 'Christian'.
