  1. Worldwide for electricity: Coal (especially in the 3rd world)

    US: Oil

  2. Al Gore invented the SUN

  3. The sun. It made all fossil fuels, and drives both wind and hydro cycles. Geothermal and nuclear are tiny by comparison.

  4. I thought Al invented god.

  5. In the body it is the nucleus of every cell... kinda. Nery nebulous question.

  6. Solar Energy.

    In a much warmer time...

Photosynthesis microbes in stagnant lagoons millions of years ago which stored away solar energy became fossilized and became what we know today as natural gas and oil.

During the Carboniferous Era, when most of the Earth was covered by a massive rainforest with 40% more Oxygen in the atmosphere and a much warmer climate, trees that harnessed solar energy died and fossilized on the bottom of swamps stretching hundreds of miles. This became Coal.

At the end of the Carboniferous Era (Meaning Coal Producing Era), CO2 levels fell dramatically and the Earth plunged into mass extinction since the massive forests had no CO2 to create sugars with.
