he didn't try to escape?

I mean what kind of hate monger would expect a man with TWO broken legs and a broken arm, pulled from a lake nearly drowned, dragged thru the streets where he was kicked and tortured by the civilian population, placed in a prison in the enemies capital, with no underground resistance help, expected to escape?

I have no clue what kind of self consuming hate it takes for a person to make retarded statements against someone who was fighting for our country and exposed to this type of inhuman abuse. Liberals, you wonder why Obama is sinking in the polls? It's his supporters that are turning more and more people against him.....

  1. The lame efforts of the left to try and discredit McCain's military record are a damned poor strategy if they are indeed trying to win this election.

But, I suppose they have to do something to divert our attention away from scrutinizing any of their intended policies.

  2. They don't appreciate heroes, because they all all pacifists.

    Obama would surrender to Russia

    SAVE AMERICA - vote McCAIN

  3. I am a Liberal and I agree he is a hero, just not a good choice for President.

  4. He's not necessarily a "hero". I have great respect for what he endured. I can't imagine what it was like for him. However, I don't consider him a hero.

Anyone can get captured. It takes a lot more to get to where he has gotten afterward.

  5. Well, it would be quite sad if someones supporters turned people off to a candidate when it should be based on the issues.

Personally, I've never heard anyone say this, but hero or no, he certainly endured things that many people could not have, and surviving that type of ordeal is respectable.

  6. Yeah and the right wingers showed McCain's military service so much respect during the 2000 campaign now didn't they?

  7. Even Barack Obama himself has called John McCain a war hero.

A February article in the New York Times quotes Obama as saying: “By the way, John McCain is a great American hero, a war hero..."

  8. Liberal America has lurched deep left...

Why do you think that Senator Joe Lieberman who was once the Democratic VP choice for 2000 is now an Independent?

Billy-Bob Clinton who was the 'Blackest-White Man' is now on the sidelines with a muzzle?

Obama fans can follow along the path of other Democratic losers and continue to drive around with Bumper Stickers for their Candidates years after their losses!

    Go McCain '08!

  9. put downs from the right always shows their insecurity and whole life fear dream

  10. You can lead a liberal to what matters ... but you can't make them think.

    Doooaaaaahhhhh!

  11. No offence,

    I don't want Barack Obama

    I want Mccain

  12. what are you talking about?

  13. “The insinuation from the Obama campaign that John McCain, a former prisoner of war, {isn't a hero because he didn't try to escape?I mean what kind of hate monger would expect a man with TWO broken legs and a broken arm, pulled from a lake nearly drowned, dragged thru the streets where he was kicked and tortured by the civilian population, placed in a prison in the enemies capital, with no underground resistance help, expected to escape} is outrageous,” Ms. Wallace said.

  14. Yep.

You should stop pointing that out though.

It's setting up to be a SPECTACULAR failure.

  15. I never heard anyone say he was not a hero.

I constantly say that his nobility and heroism were wonderful BUT they do not make him qualified to be president of the US.  And he keeps bringing it up, over and over, geeze!

  16. who said that ?

    not me....

I don't believe in "swift boating" tactics...it's sickening to me no matter which side of the isle it comes from..

I'm a liberal, and I happen to think McCain has an honorable service record... is he a hero ?... sure he is......and so are the millions of others who serve or have served in the armed forces.

Does his service in the military qualify or disqualify him to be president..?...I believe it has no bearing either way on his ability to lead us in the right direction..

    that being said....

I'm voting for Obama...because i believe he has better judgement.

  17. I hate it when they try to say it was made up.
