What is the material they use to make boxes for snowboarding?

Is it teflon, becuase that's what im wondering but i want to be sure

  1. Teflon might work, but it is very expensive and would probably to too slick. The stuff that most use for the top of boxes is HDPE (a kind of plastic that is hard but can still give and won't crack)

I asked this question once to one of the guys who maintain the terrain park at my local resort.  He said the top of their boxes was the same material as the bottom of my snowboard, P-Tex.  Looking P-Tex up on wikipedia (also known as UHMWPE) yields this line "The extremely low friction coefficient of UHMWPE makes it a common topsheet for boxes in terrain parks"

  3. Use polyethylene sheeting.
