What is the max bar spacing for a mouse cage?

whats the max bar spacing on cages for mice (and no, i will not get an aquarium!)? thanx!

The max bar spacing for a mouse cage would be about a 1/2 inch. Any bigger they will get out!

if you go to your pet store you can fing an aquarium, just for rodents. that would be better than any bar cage. because there is a higher chance he can get out of a barred cage then the aquarium, and if he chews on the bars of the cage he can die because it does some bad stuff to his brain. I hope it all works out!
