What is the max. safe speed for a 17' U-Haul truck towing a car trailer (with car, of course)?

U-Haul says 45 mph (72 km/h) is the maximum safe speed for a U-Haul truck, but what about when the truck is also towing a car trailer?

  1. I would keep the speed down to under 50. U-haul is famous for renting out rolling junk. Look at how old there trucks are!


  2. I would stay between 55 to 65 miles per hour and stay in the right lane...

  3. on the freeway/highway min. speed is 45mph stay in your right hand lane. the same with or with out the car
