  1. Here is a link to a page that can help you with this information and more about Head Start:

    http://massresources.org/pages.cfm?conte...

Looks like $14000.00/year for a family of 2, however, other factors may contribute to whether or not a child is accepted, such as special needs, and whether or not classes are full in your area, so apply whether you think you qualify or not.  Also, if you don't qualify, there may be other programs such as Pre-K that are also free and your Head Start agency may be able to guide you to these programs as well.  If you don't seem to be getting any help with this kind of information from your Head Start agency, call your local elementary school and ask if there is state-funded Pre-K, and ask how to find state-subsidized preschool and childcare in your area.

I wish you luck.  It sounds as if you are in a pressing situation.
