  1. It is about two years but there a a number of factors that have to be taken into consideration. Have a look at the immigration department website:

    http://www.immi.gov.au/

If you get confused send me a message and I will try to explain.

  2. The maximum time taken from applying for your General Skilled visa is around 18 months if you score the pass mark on the points test, but the standard time is around 12 months. If you only score the pool mark on the points test, it can take 2 years and you still won't get a visa if you can't get to the pass mark.

Stay well clear of all migration agents. They sometimes use Y!A as a means of drumming up business for themselves by asking you to contact them privately. There is NOTHING they can do to shorten the time for you to get your visa! There is NOTHING they can do to get you a visa you would not otherwise have been granted. Every one of them is an expensive ripoff. If you have completed your application correctly and have supplied all required information, your visa will eventually come - no one can speed it up!

  3. Right... you do know that you need to be competent in puting sentences together?? There are a lot of forms to fill out...
