you target what their weak point is, is it about weight? looks? group family or friends, and base your insults from there. but what i have learnt is you can kill them with kindness. It's worked for me, if you strongly dislike this person and they feel the same way towards you, the cruelest thing you can do is be kind to them because everytime they try to insult you it will just bounce off and make them furious towards you.

Well, I try not to be mean. But if someone is just being rude for no reason, I often say "I'm so sorry you're having such a bad day."

If someone honks at me or flips me the bird while driving, I just wave and give them a big smile.
