What is the meaning of Europe or Asia or America?

Edit: I'm African and am not aware of any other name other than Africa. I know South Africa was referred to as Azania.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this but Africa, (sometimes called the Golden Continent) is just what it is...a continent,  like Asia, Europe, Australia and America. Perhaps you should rephrase your question in order to get the answer you are hoping for?

ADD: Not that I am aware of, but I could be wrong. I would be very interested to know if Africa really did have another name.
