  2. It is a word like gringo/gringa I wont bore you with the orgin of the word.It's nothing to worry about ,it is not a bad or disrespectful  term.

    Guero/Guera is a word meaning blond that was originally used to describe the Spanish soldiers and it was also often used as an attention getter. Indigenous people would shout,guera! guera! guera! or blondie! blondie! blondie! to gets every ones attention. Today it is still used by some people as a way to describe someone,usually a foreigner, with fair hair and skin and usually light eyes.
