Normally on juice or certain other items packs, 'e' is written after the volume or gramm description. e.g., 500ml e. or 1000g e. why ?

  1. yup to answers above cause in statistic way the exact volume or mass will like almost never be 0,5000 liter but like 0,5060 or 0,4955 liter etc so sometimes a bit more sometimes a bit less so 0,5 liter should be the avarage but there will be a standard error, like a Gauss curve:)

  2. the e normally means that the measurement is a Net measurement not a gross measurement i.e. just the contents and not the contents and the packaging together.

  3. The e means estimate. It is included to prevent complaints if the mass or volume is not exact.
