  1. Government of the people , government for the people and government by the people.

Equality , intrgration , opportunity for growth , progress and prosperity in coordial way dedicated to nation.

  2. It comes from the Greek word "δημοκρατία." It's a combination of the words "people" and "strength."

  3. The root term "demos" is Greek, a word that  mean the people in general, actually all voting-rights holders above a certain age acting as full participants in the civic choices of leaders made within a polis or city-state entity, like a small country.

Democracy is not a form of government, no matter what anyone says.

it implies making all choices for government-employed or elected citizens' actions by mass votes--which would require people to have computers and sit there twelve hours a day taking polls.

It is instead a form of election, certain scientific conditions being met,

These are: regulated forms of asserting facts, evaluations by defined standards and scientific proofs; then there has to be the invited participation of a sufficient percentage of citizens as voters; and there must be fully-disclosed necessary information for voters to consider so they can freely arrive at a decision as to who to vote for as responsible--not totalitarian--servant leader.

These simple conditions--as opposed to there being an oligarchy or government by limited state tyrants, theocrats or religious dictators, plutocrats or wealthy dictators, etc.--permit a useful election by the citizens of a marketplace of associating adults on a national, state, county or town level to be held and a government to protect their rights.

Of course, we have in this country none of these conditions being met sufficiently.  But the conditions I describe are the minimum necessary to ensure a real choice--which may be a choice lacking in vision, scientific strategy and sufficient opportunity for knowledge etc.  But the idea is to choose leaders without use of force or fraud and to get rid of them or change them after some time if necessary without resort to force or fraud etc. once again.

  4. Democracy is a system of government by which political sovereignty is retained by the people and exercised directly by citizens. In modern times it has also been used to refer to a constitutional republic where the people have a voice through their elected representatives. It is derived from the Greek δημοκρατία ([dimokratia] (help·info)), "popular government"[1] which was coined from δήμος (dēmos), "people" and κράτος (kratos), "rule, strength" in the middle of the 5th century BC to denote the political systems then existing in some Greek city-states, notably Athens.[2]
