  1. Extra:
St.George was not the original Patron Saint of England. It was the Martyr-Saint and King of East-Anglia. His name was Edmund, an Englishman (Anglo-Saxon). He is thought to have been buried in or near a place in Suffolk that later became the town of 'Bury St.Edmunds', !.

  5. The St.George flag of England:
At the time of the first Knights Templar crusade, the blood red cross of Jesus was on their tunics, shields and flags, but the shape of the red cross changed in later crusades. Today also the shape of the red cross on England's flag has changed, i.e., the two red lines are middle-crossing and it is horizontal, but earlier this flag had the lines crossing making it more like a crucifix. On the Templars white tunics in the first crusade, the red coss was perpendicular and the Templars were protectorates of its meaning.
