  1. I'm not sure about Islam but I think Hinduism is much like Buddhism in the sense that life is all about just being happy. Finding Happiness and Compassion are the key factors of life according to it.

  2. As a rule, regardless of religion overall the partial meaning of life is to help each other as neighbors and as brothers and sisters.  Islam and Hinduism are no different in these respects.

I cannot answer any more than that about Hinduism, I don't know enough about it.

Islam on the other hand, has the same basic life goals as Christianity.  In truth, they are basically the same religion; they even believe in Jesus.  The major difference is that they also have Mohammed.

According to Islam, Jesus came from God.  He taught many great things.  However, Jesus' words have since been misused, twisted, ignored, or outright lied about.  And I think most of us would agree with that assessment; how many wars have been fought, how many people have been tortured and/or killed, how much suffering has been wrought because someone twisted the words of Jesus.

Hitler himself used the Bible to justify the Holocaust.  Now this does not mean in the least that either Jesus or the Christians are evil, not at all.  But everyone who is honest must agree that the words of Jesus have often been misused.

Islam believes that to correct this, God then sent Mohammed.  He was sent, not to counter Jesus, not to clarify Jesus, not to replace Jesus, but to restore and repeat the words of Jesus; and then to provide us with certain beliefs and rituals (like the 5 prayers a day) to make sure that we would never twist the words again.

If anyone tried, our study and our constant prayers would make sure we would know what had actually been said and would not let them twist it to say anything else.

But in pretty much every other way, Christianity and Islam are nearly the same religion.  And so they have the same basic teachings; the most important of which, the two that all other laws hang from are

    1)  Love God with your whole heart, mind, body, and soul.

    2)  Love your neighbor as yourself.

These are the meaning of life in Christianity, the meaning of life in Islam; and in many ways the meaning of life in all religions.

  3. Life has several meanings,, which is clearly defined in this page.. you can understand better here..

  4. In my personal opinion their meaning is "useless". But then you don't have to take my word for it. It's just my opinion.

EDIT: the warmonger claims that Islam is the same as Christianity. IT IS NOT!

Although the Christ is mentioned in their "religion" they do not see the Christ as He is. Our only salvation and the "Son of God". That is the fundamental belief in Christianity. Only the Christ can save us. Only the Christ Jesus has paid for our transgressions. No one else. This is the basis of Christianity, He came to save the world and conquer death and the Islamic "religion" does not accept that. This rejection of our Lord Jesus' sacrifice, authority, and payment for the world is not like Christianity at all. As for the New Testament we have far, far too much physical evidence from as far back as the first century to say that His words have been misinterpreted, or misquoted, or degraded over the last nineteen hundred and sixty six years. A vast amount of historical recordings prove that what the Apostles wrote of the Christ (these were the men who lived with Him, ate with Him and knew the Christ personally) is still valid today as it was nineteen hundred and sixty years ago!
