  1. nurse-patient relationships are VITAL to the well being of the patient. it is important that the nurse be kind, caring, considerate, compassionate, and maybe even humorous. the patient's mental health will directly affect his/her physical health. The nurse is just as important as the doctor because he/she tends to the patient when the doctor is not in, and administers treatments that the doctor usually does not (IV's, drugs, that sort of thing.)

  2. how the nurse helps the patient and relates to him/her.   Hopefully the nurse is compassionate and doesn't try to poision her patient by giving them the drug Versed!
