A project proposal is basically a document that describes you project in detail, as well as the strategy and tactics you plan to use to achieve its completion. There are several formats to follow in order to develop a good project proposal.

The nature of the project proposal is basically the area where the project belongs to. The nature of a project can be construction improvements, Machine improvements, New electronic design, etc.

project proposals take place in nearly every discipline.

you propose your project.

for example, in science, you would propose what research you want to do, and the grant committees decide whether or not they will fund you for that research. you would need background information, hypothesis, methods of the experiments, protocols etc etc.

another example, you could propose to use a different packaging method for a fast food restaurant that could save that company money over time. You would need to give background information on how much they spend, what they would spend upfront if they switch, savings over time, and bio benefits they could use for marketing.

project proposal is just what it sounds.. but you need to be very thorough or you will not be successful.
